The energy transition is no longer an option: it is a collective responsibility. In this context, the Société Ivoirienne de Raffinage (SIR) is pursuing a particularly ambitious decarbonization roadmap, driven by innovation and the continuous improvement of its industrial processes.

At the heart of this transformation, several structuring initiatives are being implemented:
🔧 Modernization of units and energy optimization to reduce the carbon intensity of refining operations.
🌱 Progressive integration of more sustainable solutions, particularly through improved energy efficiency and the adoption of cleaner technologies.
♻️ Valorization of process streams and emissions reduction through innovative approaches to process and resource management.
🤝 Collaboration with technology and industrial partners to accelerate the transition toward more responsible refining.

These innovations reflect a strong conviction: industrial performance and environmental responsibility must move forward together.
SIR demonstrates that the oil and refining industry can be a committed player in the energy transition in Africa, reconciling energy security, competitiveness, and carbon footprint reduction.
This momentum illustrates the ability of the Ivorian industry to reinvent itself in order to address the climate challenges of today and tomorrow.
MTS, Héliohm SAS, and Strat & IoT Consulting have had the opportunity to learn from and contribute to these decarbonization projects currently under development.
